With the launch of 1783 tonic in 2018, we have continued to support the Schweppes team with several in-venue and digital activations to secure on-trade menu listings and promote the hero signature serves.

This was one of the key projects we worked on in HORECA; a pillar of strategic importance. It’s a complex project given the intricacies of the 120,000 outlet channels.

Amplified by digital activity with Greene King, we served ads to potential customers within proximity to Metropolitan Pubs that were stocking 1783 tonic. By delivering dynamic video ads showcasing refreshing serves to customers during peak ‘drinking hours’, we were able to link ads out to Google Maps. Customers could then click to follow directions to their nearest outlet and sample a 1783 Schweppes tonic serve.

Supporting Schweppes within the off-trade grocer channels, we launched the Ultimate Mixer’s Christmas activation that was rolled out exclusively within ASDA stores. We led the creative across barkers, incorporating NFC technology which allowed customers to tap, to access a custom-made mobile site. The seasonal cocktails recipes were then revealed as well as the ingredients the customers could pick up whilst in store.
